But they aren't past it/immobile and can all play 90 minutes. Rooney, Mata, Carrick, Schweinsteiger, Young, Fellaini, Valencia... All too old, can't run like £#%&! for 90 minutes or in Mata's case at all, no pace with exception of Young and the injured Valencia, and all struggle to play twice a week. That's half the £#%&!ing squad nearly

LVG had Welbeck, Hernandez, Nani, Kagawa, Zaha, all players who could move at something like pace. He made the choice to dump them and play a different way.
Everyone of them wanted out because their time here was done before LvG arrived, or they just weren't good enough.

If it wasnt for the fact it is liverpool hes transforming , lots of the cardie crew would be turning on lvg.

Can't believe it takes that mediocre Liverpool squad only 5 weeks to learn a philosophy.

Hang on, he's delivered two great performances so far. Too early to judge despite the signs being ominous.

Oh so now Southampton are wretched just like Chelsea and city are they?

There's no getting away from it, it's been a £#%&!ing impressive start from Klopp.

Whether he can maintain it remains to be seen ofcourse, but nobody wanted him there, they've done remarkably well to get him and it's already playing off.

We should have got him after Fergie.

Ah well, £#%&! him. Hope he dies.

£#%&! a duck. We're getting worse and worse and now these @#%&!s have transformed overnight. Football is shit.
That is what changed moyesies fortunes.

Liverpool from December and onwards hitting top spot. Us getting worse.

All of the talk of "patience" and "trust" went out the window. History looks like repeating itself.

He lost to Palace and needed a scabby penalty to beat Swansea. Good results against Chelsea and City on paper but they'll be hit and miss all season. They're no threat to us.

Klopp is only at Liverpool because he tried to get Dortmund relegated last season.

Impressive tonight against a good side. They caught Chelsea and City at good times, but Soton are a well prepared team. But teams are still giving Liverpool space to play in at home. This result might put an end to that and they might face the 11-man defence from now on like we do.

They're 5 points behind. They already are a threat to us. No point wetting our knicks but no point pretending they're irrelevant either.

See, right there. Good results 'on paper'
..they're just good results. Full stop.

Imagine what we'd be calling the dippers if we won at city, Chelsea and thumped Southampton away like that, and they just said 'yeah well the opposition were shit'.

They're not perfect and I'm sure they will have their ups and downs just like everyone else, but he's been in charge, what, ten games and they already look utterly rejuvenated with a fairly average squad.

It's just to see so many people angling to discredit rather than just admit it's an impressive start.

Theres no point to keep pointing out how wretched teams are when liverpool beat them, these away wins are highly impressive sadly. Even more so considering how £#%&!ing garbage these players are.

Theyve scored 10 goals away at soton and city. Im not sure weve even got 10 goals in the last

But enough about Klopp and his £#%&!ing scouse @#%&!s. Had he waited a little bit he would have had a chance to be a legend at the biggest club in england. As good as he is, winning something of note will be impossible at that club thank god.

I think he's been more hit than miss so far, but already there appears a big distance between their performances against teams who give them space to play and ones that don't. They were fortunate to play City without Kompany and Otamendi, but the overriding issue is that teams haven't looked that ready for Klopp at home. At Anfield it seems to be a bit different.

That will be his big challenge. He's got a pacey energetic frontline which suits him. But last season it all fell apart when he tried to introduce a more patient style to conserve energy. This result may see teams across the board play deep against them. He needs to have the answers for every scenario.

The main threat to us is us. About time we started putting convincing performances together, then these @#%&!s can do what they like.

Of course they're not irrelevant, Liverpool will never be irrelevant to us.

Any kind of good start for him was only going to be fuel for the anti LVG mob on here anyway.
