Still 15 (?) minutes to go, though - so does it fall under the thread title??

Forlan v Chelsea in January 2003 started the run to that years title.

Arguably.

as good as a goal... Schmeichel stopping the penalty against Arse at Villa Park in '99

would have blown the treble, and who knows what would've happened in the league and Europe after that

Beckham v Leicester in 1998 opening day of treble season. 2-0 down, Beckham free kick in injury time to rescue a point. Lose then and who knows.

Set the tone for the season

Cruyff away to derby in 99 was pretty late, as was Yorke's at Charlton

Why the £#%&!ing hell is that Owen goal in there? It changed £#%&! all

I remember Keane's goal against Leeds (Radebe in nets) feeling quite significant but I can't think why other than it was against Leeds.

You could do ten from the 98-99 season alone

Never. Too many late goals and that finale, on that date etc...nah it'll never be beaten, even if we'd have won it in 08 (which we would have done if Carrick had squeezed it in against Pompey) it wouldn't be as fondly remembered

About 30 goals should be in that top ten. Most of them from the 99 and 93 seasons.

....Giggsy last week for me. Changed this season.
