Johnny Evans is the best youth player we have brought through for years.

I don't think we need to spend big on a defender if we sell Vidic, Evans will be fine. I would actually start Evans ahead of Vidic at the moment.

Which games? Chelsea he was not fit the rest he's played unless rested due to nagging injury's like the rest of our back four.

And that was because we received a bid which the club thought was excellent value and also overpriced value.

We wont be selling Vida anytime soon, what we need is he and Rio fit so Evans can get the surgery he's required for the last 2 months. Evans for me has been absolutly magnificent over the past 2 seasons, and if we did sell Rio/Vida i honestly would not be worried because he's proven already good enough.
