Back 5 for city. Game time for players or is Pep a bit worried about the final?

Genuinely hate how robotic city are. Every £#%&!ing goal it's exactly the same

there's no 'wow' moment or bits of breathtaking skill, or someone banging one in from 30 yards. it's like watching football being reduced to chess, move people about and then tap it into the goal.

I never thought i'd see a team in my lifetime more tactically suffocating and cynical than mourinho's chelsea, but boy was i wrong.

Reece James looks like the right balance between attacking fullback & half decent at doing the dirty work. He’s very comfortable on the ball, but I might be damning him with feint praise when I look at how AWB is in possession in comparison.

There used to be a bit more flair to Guardiola’s sides. Never fawned over him like some did but his Barca team were great to watch (helped in no small part by having three of the best players ever running the team), and Bayern were a good watch under him too. City are just plain dull to watch, like you say. Machine like and efficient, but I never sit there and think “that’s great football”.

If Chelsea manage a draw here, and even if they don’t at this point, you can’t help but think they’ve got city’s number

Bodes well for the champions league final

Chelsea will be a proper game for city in that final. Yeah city may start well and score early and control it but Chelsea will be right in there.
