We will make him into the player Dutch Doggers like Bunks thinks he already is. Or not.

We went through all this with Fred. That’s who he needs to aspire towards.
Very good

he is coming off after 65 mins for bruno or Fred.
after doing tidy nothings for the duration of his time on the pitch.

That "fact" baffles you because you aren't paying attention.

Donny Van de Beek: 852 minutes (and starts today)
Dan James: 496 minutes

DVB is a better footballer than Fred or The Scottish Player. Glad he is starting. The lad has pedigree and class.

So is Rashford. But I wouldn't play him in central £#%&!ing midfield. How difficult is this to understand?

Totally irrelevant comparison. DVB has played in various midfield roles at Ajax. Be Told.

And Lingard and Pereira played more than him when they were “squad players”.

Gassing that money on Bruno’s cover was an awful shout when we had other more pressing needs.

Hes young, got a lot to come etc, but he neither gives the ability or goals of Bruno, nor the hunger or tackling of Fred.

Needs games but not in our first team against the dippers.

He’s used to playing in a team where he constantly gets passed the ball

In this United team he will need to go out there and hunt for it a bit more

That being said every time he gets on the ball he’s very slick and rarely gives it away and played a crucial role in our equaliser, that one touch ball out to Rashford was great!

He needs more personality on the pitch but overall but still think he should play alongside Bruno and Pogba, he’s the best of the rest imo

I'd never seen him play before we signed him but going off the sages on here it sounded like a good move.

From the way Ole uses him it doesn't appear he was particularly wanted or, if he was, there has been some buyer's remorse.
