yes, i know that's why he wasn't playing. but jablonsky said he'd broke his foot a few days ago, i thought he was injured as well - that seems to be incorrect?

If David Jones didn't make it Gibson will certainly not.

How is Carrick over looked for England it's £#%&!ing bang out of order.

Great save by the Aberdeen keeper from Giggsy's header FOOK ME!!!

oh and Fletcher was horrendous.

Doesn't anyone give Simmo a chance at breaking through.

Gibson is a far better player.

Never understood the hype over Jones. He was neat and tidy, but physically weak, slow and painfully one footed. Those weaknesses would get exposed in the PL, as shown by the fact that he could not hold down a spot in one of the worst teams to ever play in the top league with Derby.

Gibson is techically good, but immobile, and seems to lack an edge or real drive

Agreed

He's an strange footballer really because he's capable of terrific performances (Arsenal in the FA Cup last season)....he's a very useful squad player & he has won me over in the last couple of years.

But he's such a £#%&!ing weakling!...he was muscled off the ball time & time again yesterday. That was acceptable 4 or 5 years ago, but he's mid-20s now. He should have a lot more composure & strength against weak opponents.
The good cross for Waynes goal aside I think one of those seaguls would have done a better job for us yesterday.
