If he wasn't always injured it would be a no brainer to keep him, but you can't build a team with someone always out.

As has been mentioned I would buy Clyne. I'd also get Alves in on a free for a couple of years.

Love Rafael, but it has gone too far now unfortunately.

In the 8/9 years since Neville first started getting injuries, right-back has been an inconsistent position. If he could stay fit, Rafael would be good enough for me, but it's become impossible to argue that we wouldn't be better off with someone who plays all season.

Love the lad Rafael tbf, but it's time. He's just not reliable enough.

Still believe in Nani

Love Raffers.

Be glad for him to get out, Valencia and McNair for 45 minutes.

Cmon bro, van mal is holding a lot of our players back. People focus on falcao, rvp, adm etc. Has to be something deeper when NOBODY is in form. Has to be something wrong when ander herrera has started 2 league games since october or something similarly ridiculous.

Im sick of this "our team is shit" "our squad is shit". Its march and we dont even know our best formation/team. We've not been in europe all season, went out of the carling cup at the first hurdle(4-0 humiliation to mkdonalds aka fake club).

Toys out of the pram here. watching these cl games has pissed me off. We should be there!!!

Been the case for years. Most players declined under Ferguson, even Rooney.

For individuals to truly work well, the team has to function well as a unit. That's what LvG is working on.

Honestly, he is

Selling Carrick right now would be costly.

Were in absolutely NO position to look at shipping him out, 35 or not next year.

Carrick should not be first choice next season. We need to start progressing with a new side.

I'd keep him in the squad mind.

who's talking about selling carrick?

£#%&!ing hell, he's been our best player this season other than de gea.

we need to replace him, because he can't last. sadly.

That's a pretty damning stat, tbh

Agree with a lot that's been said - he really loves United and his heart is in the right place. He's just too often caught out of position, jumps in too often etc.

Clyne and Coleman are much better options tbh. Will be sad to see someone that gives a £#%&! go whereas @#%&!s like Evans get a stay. Hopefully, he'll follow him out of the door.

this is the biggest problem imo

Rafael is exactly the kind of lad you want in the side, but he's always injured ffs..& when he finally gets back in the side he tries too hard & does something stupid.
It's been like that for years.

As I said before though, there'd be a dozen of the bastards shown the door before Rafael.
