TBH I don't think they need or want your pity. They seem perfectly happy as they are, from the ones I've met.

People move on, grow up, change. How dire would life be if you were to be raised and die on the same street or in the same town.
I wouldn't be able to achieve certain career goals outside of London, main factor. Get over it and experience the world, there's so much more to life than The Stone Roses and shit pubs.

I never said there wasn't more to life than the Stone Roses and shit pubs.
There are plenty of good jobs in Mcr if you're good enough. There are more in London so the bar is set a bit lower. Probably why you're still there.

I've had a look at some of your previous posts, you've only posted in 3 threads and you've had a whinge in every one. Maybe London isn't quite as good as you pretend it is. You're clearly miserable and bitter down there. Why not come back up north and feel the love. You'll always be made welcome.

Be serious, the bars the highest in London, more so than anywhere else in Europe. I could not find work in my field in Manchester, simple truth.
Most here whinge, venting on an internet forums not exactly out of the ordinary.
Happy that I've more than everything on my doorstep thankyou

How are you treated in Manchester when you tell them how much you love the tory party?

Very well actually. It helps being a double hard bastard though. Seriously though, it's only keyboard warriors who ever get arsey, no one has ever said anything negative about it.

There's my old house. The first one you see is the vicarage and next door is my old house. The bus stop looks outside the door but it's just the angle it's taken from. Anyway, look at that beautiful grass.

It's Mainway but the photographer will have been standing on Kirkway to take the photo. Just outside The Roebuck or whatever it's called now.

I'd imagine so.

I get this impression that a lot of mancunians like to pretend to want to live in some socialist dreamworld so as to appear cool.
