Yep. Missing Wes and Hargreaves for the whole season, or thereabouts. Plus Rio being injured or carrying an injury for the vast majority of it, Anderson out for 3 months or so, Ronaldo missing a month, Rooney in and out, Carrick broken ankle, Scholes missing for 2-3 months, various suspensions, ridiculous and otherwise.

It's been a tough year, not got any real rhythm going in our play, just ground results out all year.

What I would give for a 2 month flourish, United at their peak

And that won't get touched upon by the media either. No talk of United being down to the bare bones, or how many players are missing, they'll mention Macheda but only because he scored.

If we win this title it genuinely will be my favourite of all time, and I include 1993 in that.

flashes of brilliance just like when he arrived, no consistency at all. No sign of any improvement in his physical presence either.

£#%&!ing hell talk about going over the top.

he hasnt improved since he got here?

how many games has he started in a row this seaso in comprison to last?

who in the team this season has consistently performed?

last season we had a good season from ronaldo, rooney, anderson, rio, evra, wes brown etc

this season how many players have been consistently good? i think you will struggle. even the dependables like evra has been neither here nor there. the agressive rotation policy and injuries has led to this being a 'off' season for everyone imo.

chelsea are not their consistent self. if they were we would be long gone.

arsenal are arsenal challenge for fourth nowadays.

liverpool are doing what they normally do, its just that with us out of sorts they are closer to us.

That's just ridiculous. If the Ribery rumours are to be believed, I fear it's the end for Nani. To be honest, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it either. He's not my cup of tea, I don't think he'll make it and I feel Fergie doesn't trust him either, hence the 6 league starts this season.

I can see why some people have some hope left for him. But he's not a United player in my opinion. However, I'd love him to prove me wrong.

it's not, tbh, and fergie has never thought so - as lee sharpe still tells anyone who'll listen.

this isn't a go at nani, btw. i have no idea what he's like as a person. he could be the nicest person in the world for all i know. my problem with nani, much as i'd like him to prove me wrong, is that his ball control and shooting is not matched as far as i can see with any kind of footballing nous. his movement is quite limited, he only occasionally makes a run to offer the through pass, he makes relatively few runs without the ball to make space for others. quite the opposite of park in that regard, but then park is one of the most intelligent footballers we have - the caricature of him as a headless chicken is laughable.
