palacios is "suspended and cup tied". Surely he is merely cup tied as he can't be suspended from a game for which his is not available.

He is apparently.

He has a two game ban but they are the Burnley game and the game against us which he was cup tied for anyway but still count as his two game suspension.

You serious? He is gonna get rid of a game suspension from the FA by not playing in a game in which he is ineligable under FA rules? I s'pose that can only make sense in the context of the two letters "F" and "A".
