I think Mourinho is the obvious choice. Always remember Fergie saying the first thing he looks for in a player is can they handle the pressure that comes with being a United player and his standout memory of Eric was him walking into OT with the attitude something like "I'm Cantona, how big are you? Are you big enough for me?" Mourinho strikes me as the same sort of character. Jose for me with Ole as no.2

His brand value would rise dramatically so he wouldn't have to be on crazy wages to still make plenty of money.

New owners by then

And I agree, Mourinho is the only choice in world football at the minute that has the United attitude.Wenger, even if we approached him, wouldn't come and is a total @#%&!.

Interesting. Darren Ferguson has just been on Goals on Sunday. He's going off over to Milan soon - invited over by Mourinho.

saw that.

mourinho is desperate to be our manager imo. He probably has wet dreams about the legacy he feels that he could create.

Let's face it - the United job is the pinnacle for any manager.

If Rooney was sold in January and Ferie hadn't sanctioned it, how do you think he'd react?

He'd say "It was too good a price to turn down, what with there being no value in the transfer market these days.....I'm bringing in Robbie Fowler on a free."

Think back to 1992 mate. Most United fans I know would have given their right nut for just ONE league title. No matter how we played.

We'd all like to see united win in style, but I'd take winning a league title playing a bit boring than being £#%&!ing relegated ffs.

Have a word.
