No place for that sort of thing in the beautiful game of football.
Sets a terrible example for dads over 40, imo

Replace that with "approach the ref". And the captain can only ask for clarification of the offence committed, not question the decision. Any other player approaching the ref results in a yellow card for both that player AND the captain.

If a player needs treatment then let the game continue whilst the trainer comes on the pitch. Ref has discretion to stop the game if a serious injury.

3 RAR referrals per captain per side per game.

If successfully referred, referral rolls over.

Scrap VAR. Players can miss open goals, refs can miss fouls. Neither do it on purpose. So it goes.

Don't let murdering nation states own clubs.

A 5 yard No entry zone to be introduced round each corner flag to stop idiots taking the ball into the corner at the end of games to run down the clock. Nobody allowed in once 85 mins are gone.

Wouldn’t players just take the ball to edge of the zone instead?

ball has to go out of play for the match to end
the player who wins the pen must take the pen
straight red for a dive
corners have to have the ball inside that D
bring back the 6 second rule for keepers but actually enforce it bang on 6, no leeway
all handballs are treated as deliberate

var gone - refs must make the decision

Would make things way more exciting. Fred having to take a 94th minute pen etc

Maybe. But they can’t control a line several metres long the way they can a corner. They’d have to run up and down the line.

Allow physios on during the game to treat some @#%&! pretending to be injured, just continue play around them like they do in egg chasing. Instantly stops the faking it to waste time.

Abolish ‘second phase/interfering with play’ offside laws. If anyone is offside, flag goes up.

Basically just go back to the old offside rule as it had been for years, nice and simple, no not interfering in play etc

Or just do away with it altogether.

At corners, all opposing players must be at least a trombone’s length away from the defending goalkeeper, with the goalie having to ensure the rule is adhered to with a trombone that is kept at the back of the goal. The keeper is permitted to accompany the crossing of the ball at the set piece with the musical sound affect of his choosing.

Any coordinated goal celebrations incur red cards for all concerned.
