I never rated Toure. Don't think he's a particularly good defender. Think if they went for the lad at Fulham it might turn out to be an improvement.

Adebayor gone, Toure on his way, Eboue being touted as moving...

African Nations Cup next January, I think Wenger has realised he can't afford to lose so many of his better players for a month & still be challenging for 3rd / 4th spot.

I will not be surprised if arsenal have another season like 07-08 where everyone are thinking they are weak and suddenly they play really well.

Maybe he'll be allowed to spend the cash after they've got through the Champions League qualifying round.

Arshavin is world class imo. In hindsight if Fergie knew Ronaldo was going he should have got Arshavin. Arshavin is gonna be in all my dream teams he will score/assist loads at Arsenal.

steady on, eh. he was in their side that was shite for most of the spring and would have missed out on the cl if villa and everton hadn't self-destructed. he's had plenty of anonymous games for arsenal.

a bit ott. good player, but he's not that good.

Thumbs up

he only played 10+ games last season and gave a decent account of himself considering the dificulties adjusting etc.

I think he will shine this season

6 goals and 8 assists in 998 minutes on the pitch in the league. In all honesty, that's a very good record. The guy is world class.

Arshavin wears a sports bra which compacts his muscles and enables greater force to be expelled when kicking the ball

i'd rather he stayed, with a world class manager they could become a serious threat.

He's gonna be on an incredibly short leash.
