One Saturday at Xmas (December 17th, i just checked) 1977:

Manchester United 0 Nottingham Forest 4

Appointing a good man like Moyes as manager with Ferguson's blessing doesn't even get close to it.

Surprised nobody has mentioned *that* game at Anfield in 1992 yet - even worse than a year ago and will take some beating IMO

Today is pretty dreadful all told, but not in the league of either of the above. Not yet, anyway

Pathetic this, what a bunch of slapped-arses:shakehead:

Knee-jerk bullshit representative of society in general, if he turns out to be a disaster then by all means whinge and cry but 10 mins after the confirmation

Half of the bitches on here were crowing about what £#%&!ers vermin fans were for doing the same thing as they are right now over Hodgson

The RAWK mob were against Hodgson for rather different reasons, though.

Few people if any on here don't *like* Moyes - they just don't think he is up to managing United

always thought that was the least bad of that 4 game run tbh - Forest at home (£#%&!ing Forest again ) was one of the most depressing days ever ...

glad I wasn't at anfield though :shudder:

The worst day as a United fan?

The 5-1 and 6-1 defeats to the berties.
Losing the CL finals to Barca in such a flattening way.
Ronaldo going.
Cantona calling it a day.
The 92 bus not going to Orsdall any more, forcing me to walk down to the metrolink rather than straight out of the Frigate on to the bus.
You know, serious shit. Not having a new manager come on board who will be helped by Fergie whenever he needs it.

£#%&! me there are some spoilt knee jerking £#%&!ers in here.

The point being, that was the game that finally sealed our doom. THERE - against THEM

Whilst at the same time, Sheffield United players were practically kicking the ball into their own net :shakehead:

I dunno. The RAWK mob are imbeciles, but all their reasons for "disliking" Hodgson were pretty transparent, they just thought he was beneath them. This isn't all that different.

Possibly the worst thread on here, ever. Can't believe I'm reading shit like this being posted by people twice my age.

Course it £#%&!ing didn't. They wouldn't have turned their noses up at Mourinho - not that he'd look twice at them.

I remember it all like it was yesterday

the Forest game was the most depressing game that season

"you lost the league on merseyside" ringing out of the tele could be turned down, but actually watching us lose the league right in front of me that monday afternoon will never leave me - never.
