We look amazing against teams who sit back, but we always look shellshocked when teams come out and actually have a go at us. What makes it worse is, yesterday aside, we tend to always have a really solid 20-30 minute period regardless of the team we’re up against, so we definitely have the ability to up our game and dominate. Only thing I can think is that opening 10 mins from Fred put everyone on edge and gave a lift to Wolves who saw a glaring weak spot.

Can’t pin it on lack of leadership because Maguire and Bruno tend to be able to get us going - funnily enough De Gea looked the most composed player out there by the end, I can’t remember ever thinking that. Ever.

Watching Neves was painful at times - couldn’t help but wonder ‘what if?’ whenever he was on the ball.

De Gea was our best player for multiple years running - think people have forgotten that. has had a fairly torrid couple of years but ive been surprised at how he was so eagerly written off by people on here. Well I’m not actually.

Fred is an absolute abomination. Just awful. The ethelaustin kante.
Don't even need to buy one

Surely there's a competent one available on loan just to keep us ticking over until next summer
Not every signing needs to be 30 or 40 million plus

Did anyone spot and what's the legality on Traoré very obviously oiling up at half time ?

His entire near perfect arms were covered in oil a glistening sheen of tanning oil or baby oil....

Had our entire team on toast, but can't help but think what it would be like trying to brush him off the ball or tussle with the man mountain when he's dripping in oil....

He looked so chuffed to even be speaking to him. Like a Varane fan boy. I bet he can't believe his luck this window.

It's legal, and he does it before every game. Rubs baby oil all over his arms to stop defenders getting a proper grip of him.

If he had a consistent end product he'd be some player. Embarrassing watching Fred chasing him around like a child.

A bit like"Charles Bronson" buttering himself before wrestling a dozen screws.

De Gea reborn. Pogba flying into 2 footed challenges.

The thought of Ronaldo's mere presence is lifting these players already.

He'll be demanding of these players who've been getting away with taking the piss for far too long.

Dermot Gallagher on Sky saying the Pogba call was the right one.

So, that’s Mike dean, Dermot Gallagher and VAR who think it was right…. But ex-Liverpool player Graeme Souness thinks it’s a “leg breaker” and a red card

Craig Burley too…

He’s usually the first to cry over anything to do with us.

He didn’t think it was a foul?

He was a dirty bastard, he wouldn’t have been able to keep a straight face if he said he thought it was a foul.

Question is, when will the backlash from this bite us on the arse, as it inevitably will?
