Think laird will push wan bissaka who’s a great defender but needs a lot more going forward .. full backs forward matic or Scott or whoever dropping into a 3 .. massive changes. Also interesting to see how far Bruno and pog get played together in big games. Bruno’s playing like a forward atm .. left hand side centre half and winger are massive for us.

wan-b could be both rested and showing the best parts of his game if he were told to focus on defending and not running in to acres of space on the wing, where he will do £#%&! all. we have some great attacking players. we don't need another warm body getting in the way.

the flipside to pogba not being allowed in our half.

Then you’re missing a huge opportunity to overload on the right. You shouldn’t have to give that up just because a player is incapable.

sure, but who are you going to play instead of wan-b? because he is incapable.

Good question. We’re not going to give up on him, and we shouldn’t, but we need some competition for the spot in the way that Williams is challenging Shaw; so the most obvious guess is Laird.

Williams can play right side too. So can TFM.

Pretty impressive, given that our defenders are so shit.
