From facebook chat with a scouser

[Mark ]
22:14
"well he's tough, he was brought up in mexico". well done gary, you racist #@&%!
[You]
22:15
lol
[Mark ]
22:16
he is such a dick. "wayne did the right thing for his career, and for his life"....hmmm, lets have a look at you gary with a balaclava on...
[You]
22:17
lol
funny
he's class
redknapp said before the best right back he;'s ever played with and against
[Mark ]
22:20
took him a while to get recognition tho didnt it. fergie chased every rb in the world for years
[You]
22:20
eh?
[Mark ]
22:21
neville, fergie was after a rightback for most of the mid 90s
[You]
22:21
he wasn't
[Mark ]
22:21
he was
[You]
22:22
he was linked with Thuram a bit but that's about it, and Neville was a decent centre half back then
[Mark ]
22:22
thuram defo
[You]
22:22
but he wanted Thuram as a CB
[Mark ]
22:22
hmmm...
[You]
22:22
Neville's been a first team regular since 96
and for England till injuries took their toll, if he was fully fit he'd walk back in to th england side now
[Mark ]
22:23
yeh so was phil!!
yeah, if he could walk maybe he would...!!
[You]
22:24
think you just hate him for no reason mate, he's been one of the best right backs in the world for years, on his day only Cafu was better
[Mark ]
22:24
oh dear lolrd
lord
[You]
22:25
name a better right back between 95-05 (aside from Cafu)
[Mark ]
22:25
thuram
zabrotta
zambrotta
[You]
22:26
thuram was a decent right back, more of a centre half though
and zambrotta is the john o shea of italy
[Mark ]
22:27
rob jones would have been englands number 2 if he hadnt had to retire
[You]
22:27
£#%&!ing hell
[Mark ]
22:27
he was class mate, made his debut at OT
[You]
22:28
not in Neville's class though
not even phil neville class
[Mark ]
22:28
better. and he would have been englands best leftback too
[You]
22:29
neville had already nailed down the RB slot for England before Jones had issues.
[Mark ]
22:30
he had not. jones was goosed in 93, got back in shape in 96 but then had to jack in 2 years later. after 92 he only played a full season once
i think he was in the provisional euro 96 squad
[You]
22:31
When Neville was a regular
[Mark ]
22:31
neville didnt break in till 97/98
under hoddle we played 3 5 2
[You]
22:32
he played every game in euro 96 except the semi
for which he was suspended iirc
[Mark ]
22:32
under hoddle hebarely playedf
[You]
22:33
from wiki: "He had been the youngest first choice player in the England first team during Euro 96, his first tournament, playing in each game until the semi-final, when he was suspended and England were subsequently knocked out by eventual winners, Germany"
probably would've won it had he played
[Mark ]
22:33
course...
[You]
22:33
you're ignoring the fact i;ve just proved you wrong
[Mark ]
22:34
no, i didnt deny that. but he lost his place under hoddle, didnt truely establish himself until after that
[You]
22:34
he played every game in Euro 96, how is that not established?
[Mark ]
22:35
because he then lost his place.... having a run of games is not established.
being undroppable is established
like beckham, owen, adams, ferdinand
gerrard, lampard
[You]
22:35
he palyed in the 98 world cup and euro 2000
[Mark ]
22:36
yes but he wasnt first choice in the hoddle era
estlished means being first choice
[You]
22:37
hoddle was a clown at that point, and was palying 3-5-2 a lot, so not surprising if he didnt play as much, he was still England's 1st choice RB, not his fault they weren't playing a RB
[Mark ]
22:37
can you imagine brazil playing 3 5 2 and leaving cafu and carlos out?
[You]
22:38
they were adept at playing wing back though, Neville had been brought up as a RB, its not rocket science. The plain fact is he's probably the greatest RB in England of the past 40 years and one of the top 5 RBs of all time.
[Mark ]
22:39
you missed 'who are total #@&%!s' off the end of that
[You]
22:39
all footballers are #@&%!s, at least G-Nev is honest
[Mark ]
22:39
and a #@&%!
[You]
22:40

Mark is offline.

Can't believe Rockydale One Love is pretending he's been anything but a hysterical doom mong about our recent signings.

Hate the negative @#%&!s as not only do they get to enjoy our victories they get to revel in some kind of perverse glory on the occasions their incessant bitching proves to be correct. They's scum.

Believe had another Halalocaust and if he says any different he's a £#%&!ing @#%&!.

Nowt worse than a Halalocaust denyer/denier, is that even a £#%&!ing word. I'm gonna be poorly tomorrow, I hold my ale like a muslim nowadays.

Ramone did actually post something very similar to that after the world cup had finished, during the ozil %@#$&!s iirc

tbf the chit chat at the start of this thread about united's formation and the lack of quality in our squad that o'shea's position betrays is at least as embarrassing

Can't read the entire thread but surely O'Shea was in the team to deal with Delap's throws. Not that he did that particularly well - headed the first one away iirc but none of the rest.

btw this will sound ridiculous because I know he is brilliant, but I'm not a fan of the way Paddy often leaves his feet to try to charge down crosses - made it far too easy for Tuncay to ghost past him.

I've said many times Hernandez is gonna be a good player and haven't really called any of our other signings, merely pointed out we need a couple of players who are ready to play at the top level right now. Pretty much what Rooney said you £#%&!ing idiot.

One Love is now comparing himself to Rooney.

FFS. Can't see him recovering from this etc.

Well, I did say Rooney may consider leaving at some stage in his career. But I was told there's no way he will he's here for life, loves MUFC etc.
