Maguire cost us goal - passed slower than an asleep sloth.
If winning a few headers and grappling like a WWF warm up act gets you MoM Jim Holton would have won dozens.

Onana 8
AWB 8
Maguire 5
Evans 6
Dalot 4
Eriksen 4
Bruno 7
The Scottish Player 6
Antony 3
Hojlund 5
Garnacho 6

It was never going to be vintage. We talked all week about going back to basics and I think we did that.

The pundits and commentators really are £#%&!ers aren’t they? Spend all week lapping up the crisis, then act all confused as to why we’re not playing well.
Agree with all that.

"yeah but he still has to go to Copenhagen and get a result, the away fans look flat here"

Absolute state of Jenas.... He actually howled when we scored .

The best bit are the usual tropes . “What style are they playing? Etc “

Well if they haven’t been doing it for the last 15 games they won’t just turn up and play like 1970s Brazil one week will they?!

Results and clean sheets will breed confidence, the current shit we are in will take a while to properly come out of. Maybe ratcliffe comes in and we manage to get a couple of January signings.

Don’t know how long Martinez and shaw are out for but bringing them back will improve our ball retention and attack play considerably.

Diallo once back needs a go at that right side too. I think he could surprise a few . Don’t know when he comes back but I hope it’s soon because Antony is £#%&!.

Anyway, enjoyed that

And this is at least semi-serious - at least they looked like they gave a shit today.

Also got stuck in to help create a bit of the chaos that led to our goal.

Hardly Giggs vs Arsenal 99, but credit where it’s due. He played his part in it.
