Behind Arsenal, the best left we could have picked from about 10-12 teams left.

Were the draws greeted with an intake of breath and the usual "oooooh, what a tie that promises to be" despite the very same fixtures being played season in season out for the past fifty £#%&!ing years?

United v Villa
United v Watford
Wolves v United
United v Reading
United v Reading (again)
Yeovil v United
United v Swansea
West Ham v United
City v United
United v Liverpool

Our last 10 FA Cup third round draws.

SEVEN Premier League teams in ten years
West Ham, City and Liverpool away three years in a row. One season in the last ten where we’ve drawn a team more than one league below us.

We really don’t get much luck in these early draws
