I get confused with the titles. Sporting director / Technical director / director of football.

Which one highlights young talents as possible transfer targets? is that the scouting director?

I'm all for criticising the way the club has handled things but surely this is at least a step in the right direction, even if it doesn't work out.

Agreed. He's been involved with the game for years, genuinely loves the club, respected world wide for being the best in his position when he played- not sure what the negatives are tbh. We should be making use of people like Rio like Ajax are doing with their lot.

But what about his DOF NVQ Level 2, or lack thereof?

I genuinely don't see the problem here. He loves United, knows a lot about football and is still young enough to have been seen play by all the players so will be respected. None of these things apply to our current TIC (@#%&! in charge) Wooders.

Not continental enough. The same people who never shut up about other big clubs having real football people involved behind the scenes, have a nervous breakdown when we finally look like doing just that.
