Big contrast to last season. When he was fit, United played well.

Unfortunately he's a terrible, terrible lightweight and that bodes badly for the lad.

Ditto Kagawa innit.

Good player. Nice and tidy.

Excels in a midfield three when he has to do less of the donkey work.

I only have to look at 'The Brand' and his smug looking face infuriates me. If he played for any of our rivals he would be on my hate list.

Intentionally or not he has the look of a big time Charlie and in reality has achieved £#%&! all at United yet. He also has this annoying £#%&!ing pose when he hits a pass that smacks of wanting to look like Beckham ala Bentley

Anyway, I don't like the @#%&! and don't see him as the answer to our midfield problems. He would be worth keeping as squad player to come in for the lesser games. If only we had the £#%&!ing midfield to play in front of him. At the moment he is the probably 2nd to Carrick as the best of a bad bunch.

He had a poor game today but I don't think he's a dead loss by any means.
It does say a lot about the state of our midfield however that he's considered one of the best 2 to play in there.

I do think the injury to Nani cost us dear today though.
Valencia was so predictable & pedestrian when he came on.

Signs 23 in his signature, therefore bit of a dick and not the player he could have been.

Decent back-up

Okay then
Welbeck dropped back to neutralize Alonso, so effectively it was like having a 3rd man in midfield alongside Clevz and Carrick.

He did very well up until the sending off. We were bossing them and he was getting lots of the ball. You don't do that against a team like Madrid unless you're a top player.

You're arguing with Nancy Negative here, it's pointless.

I can't wait to quote these in the near future when he's binned off to £#%&!ing Everton or Sunderland.

You's are £#%&!ing idiots.

I like him, but he doesn't half have a tendency to lose it during the second half of games. Not just physically, but starts losing concentration and his passing gets sloppy. Still a talent, but it's hard to say exactly how good he will or won't be at the moment.

He better hope that Stoke have 23 available then.
