Berbatov is the superior footballer, no doubt. But Tevez has the better 'game' by a fair stretch too.

I'd say anyone who says wouldn't swap the pair on purely footballing reason's in in denial. Yeah yeah Berbatov knocked back City and Tevez is a @#%&! for joining them etc, but im talking purely from an on pitch perspective. This squad misses him, no doubt.

tbf all he's done is state a fact so he'd struggle to make that seem unrealistic by nature.... tbhawking

You're right, marlo really should make more of an effort ...

It's an interesting fact that he plays for Manchester City, and not a big club, and can't get in the Argentina side.

He's on a good run for a small club, just like loads of strikers have done/do. Let's wait until Adebayor back and is back to being the main centre forward, and they have big games trying to fit Tevez, Robinho, Bellamy and Santa Cruz around Adebayor.

Oh, and goals against small clubs don't count, right?

Great player, but you're bang on. United was probably too big for him, though he did score 4 against Blackburn in one game for us as well. And he scored at Blackburn away as well. It's a bit like Rooney against newcastle; he just scores for fun against them.

We can sit hear pretending Tevez is shit till the cows come home. The fact is he was a much better player for United than some of us are making out.
He had that 'in the right place at the right time' knack ...he never stopped pressing & putting defenders under pressure (which IS actually a positive thing forwards can do. You see it gives defenders less time to pick out a pass & hurries them into giving posession away..which means we get the ball back quicker) + he enjoyed to play football at a high tempo (which is the way United should always play their game)
His nose was put out of joint when Berbatov arrived...& yes his attitude £#%&!ing stank the place out after that. But did Berbatov do enough to force Tevez out the Club?...did he repay the managers faith? Did he £#%&!. He's a £#%&!ing bottle job who hides behind a myth of being a 'Cantona-esque' maverick
He's nowhere near the player he should be. He doesn't work hard enough to be that special player.

We all mocked Tevez when he joined City...we all fancied Owen to score more goals for us than he'd manage for City.
Unfortunately, Tevez has scored more times than Owen....& even more worryingly Owen has scored more goals than our £30million man.
