That's what champions* do.

*clubs drenched in sports washing oil money, rather than being weighed down by corporate debt.

Good result for us
Impressed by Arsenal but they still have that self-destructive streak in them

Silva is looking for it, but it’s a penalty. Trip and shirt pull. It’s painfully stupid from xaka.

Good result for us. This is Arsenal at their very best and they’ve still lost 3 of their last 7.

Yeah, if your objective for the season is having city wrap up the title at Christmas whilst we scrap 6th or 7th out with Arsenal.

Good result ffs. Yeah, can’t beat an injury time winner for City can you.

The objective is 4th. This helps that. No more complicated that than really. This is nobody’s ideal season.

Well clearly it is a good result for us as the best we can hope for is sadly 4th (maybe 3rd if Chelsea’s problems continue)

Arsenal and Spurs are clearly our biggest challengers to a top 4 finish

No, it’s not complicated at all. Some minor and possibly very tenuous benefit to us isn’t nearly sufficient for me to describe a last minute winner by our bitter rivals, as they cruise to another league title, as a ‘good result’.

I understand the position some are taking where they’re saying it’s a good result for us but it’s still depressing as £#%&! to think about City walking it again while we’re settling for a fight for top 4.

Also I hate this notion that we have to be happier with City beating Liverpool to it. It’s like being told “hey man this rats piss tastes really bad, but imagine having to eat pigeon shit”. Just let me swallow it the best I can and let’s move on from this like it never happened (again).

God I hope we sort ourselves out. Sick of the false starts and sense of total deflation and failure that seems to befall us every couple of years.

It’s either them Liverpool mate. I know which evil I’d prefer. Nobody is taking any joy from this. It’s purely pragmatic. The result was better for us than any other. Nobody is celebrating or saying more than that.

Are we allowed to say that’s a bad result for us?
