I think Nani played his way into the side last night but Kagawa was disappointing for the first 50 minutes before finishing strongly but I don't think he will make the starting 11 at the weekend as going by his interview Moyes seems very sceptical about Kagawa

Have a funny feeling Januzaj is going to get his first start on the left at the weekend

Evans will probably come into the starting line-up to save Rio for the mid-week European game and Hernandez will keep his place as there's no point in risking RVP against West Brom

I think Moyes will go with this

DDG

Rafael
Evans
Vidic
Evra

Carrick
Fellaini

Januzaj
Rooney
Nani

Hernandez

Thumbs down

Kills me to say it, but I’d prefer to see TC23.com start ahead of Fellaini next to Carrick tbh. ffs.

Wouldn't mind Cleverley and Fellaini starting 2bh.

Cleverley is injured anyway

Playing without a proper goalkeeper didn't really help either, tbh

I think Young won't be played as much now and neither will Valencia but he will get more games than Young.

Nani has to play whenever fit now and Kagawa needs a run. Hernandez too but it's harder for him with his position.

Presuming Van Persie is out:

De Gea

Rafael
Vidic
Evans
Evra

Carrick
Fellaini

Nani
Rooney
Kagawa

Hernandez

most of his previous gash games

last night was normal - brilliant player but very small football brain

i love watching him beat players and get shots off, but he winds me up all the more for not getting the easy stuff right

Understandable, but if Moyes is going to stay with 2 deep lying midfielders at all times then he should be braver with his wide choices, and probably has to be considering how poor Utd have been from open play this season. Young and Valencia flanking Carrick and Fellaini is unnecessarily conservative.

Valencia has picked up this season, still not close to his best form but he has been fortunate in retaining the faith of the management during the last 12-18 months with how poor his attacking production has been. Nani has barely played for a variety of reasons in the last year, needs a run of games and that same faith.
