I'd rather we kept out current strikers, used them properly, and invested in the wide areas and the midfield.

class player but not worth that much, will be 28 next year....plus theres the slight issue of having the worst midfield in history

I think he's £#%&!ing mint. Remember watching him rip Chelsea apart in the super cup, he was a nonsense. 41 in 51 for Porto and 46 in 60 for Atletico isn't bad. 55 million is a bargain when you consider Torres and Carroll

Falcao is 27 and Cristiano is 28.

Price is the same, I'd want the latter EVERY time.

He's very good. I'm just not convinced he's spend £55m, rearrange your team 'good' especially, as Ginners points out, he's late 20s now.

Falcao is an obscene talent tbh. €50 million would be perfectly reasonable. If Rooney were shipped out, he'd be the perfect replacement. However, given Chip's reluctance to play our two best strikers upfront against anyone half decent, I doubt he'll bring in a replacement for Wazzoh

I agree he shouldn't be our priority, but if he's not world class then I don't know who is...

This is largely based on Europa League exploits, though, no?

His goal return from open play in La Liga has been similar to Roberto Soldado's at Valencia.

Prefer Cavani, tbh.

a central midfielder would be nice too. seems like we've been waiting for years.

Well that and the fact he's scored against pretty much anyone he's played against, yeah.

Course he's world class. I'd probably say the best 'number 9' in the world.

If the team plays well, we score, even if strikers are off form.

What's this @#%&!lombian like with the ball at his feet, that's what Cream wants to know.

I'm just dreading the day Falcao signs for Chelsea. It'd make their team VERY good.
