The fact Evra had played in a final was a positive as he wasnt costing us £30 million for £#%&!s sake - Id expect at least a few trophies and/or dazzling ability at a very young age for my £30m.
I think you should cheer up a bit.

Fair enough Sparky - I did indeed think your name was in homeage to the curly haired goal master.

I think a few should stop trying to turn me into the Anti-Berbatov poster.

I merely pointed out that I am not excited about it as I have never seen him do anything special apart from what seems like isolated games.

His pathetic medal haul does nothing to convince me otherwise.

I have said many times on this thread alone that I think he will probably be a success but that seems to be ignored.

Im just saying that I am more relieved that we have an extra body in - than excited

What about Michael Carrick's pathetic medal haul when he joined? Has he convinced you yet?

No, the only thing to put me back in a good mood is if Sparky could reassure me that he really means it when he says he'll give Berbatov his absolute fullest backing. Really means it !

Anything less simply won't do.

Actually he hasn't.

One of our lesser players in my opinion.

I'm not trying to turn you into anything, I am trying to get you to turn that frown upside down.

It was a genuine question though, I don't remember too many players signing after great success in terms of winning stuff previously.
