Has done a superb job there.

Far too young to retire. Will be interesting if he can build something similar at another club. Back to the championship??

Good question, tbf. His team was ugly (in more senses than one) but he did the job he was meant to do.

Look back to their first season (08/09) At the start the pundits were almost unanimous Stoke would not only go down, but come 20th.

Shame about them not turning up for the FA cup final, though. Or their truly neanderthal, knuckle-dragging "fans" - but nobody's perfect

Thumbs down

It's debatable whether the likes of Pulis or Benitez even like football tbh, with the horrific 'shit on a stick' they regularly serve up. Disgusting #@&%!s.

No surprise, been rumours of him going for weeks now.

Yeah, he plays shite football but he got them into the Prem & has kept them there for 5 seasons & TBH, that's about the best they can ever expect.

Anyway, who cares, £#%&!ing racist knuckle dragging stupid £#%&!ing accent @#%&!s.

Good example Benitez. He's just so soulless and mathematical. Sitting there scribbling in his little £#%&!ing book FFS. Amazing the vermin who like to go on about passionate atmospheres and that ever warmed to the #@&%!, but you know, they're just like everyone else, win something and they don't care. Anyway they £#%&!ing hated him by the time he left whatever they say now.

The thought of a player doing anything out of the ordinary, using skill or technique, probably fills him with horror. The appalling £#%&!er.

A poor man's Sam Allardyce, and that's saying something. Good enough for Stoke, mind... can see them doing a Charlton and bombing.

It is supposed to be entertainment after all.
I agree that balckburn, and charlton before them, got ideas above their station, but they weren't playing the worst football anybody has seen in years.
Stoke fan told me plenty of them couldn't stand the football he served up.

Also would be fantastic for these @#%&!s to follow Wigan into obscurity next season. Get some proper clubs back in the 'premiership' .
