Could be a number of things. Fergie might not think is performance has been good enough on the day, or it could quite simply be because he is £#%&!ed from covering all the ground that he does.

Im not saying he is shit hot because he clearly isn't, but he's probably better than what everybody else has for cover when they have bad luck with injuries like we have recently.

Squad player, as explained.
He shouldn't have played on saturday but then that's our managers fault so I'd direct your criticism towards him.

The fact that it was against a good Villa side too....perplexing tbh.

park played on saturday for a good reason - to help cover a defence comprised of a midfielder playing right back and two centre halves just back from injury.

blaming park for our not scoring is £#%&!ing stupid considering he was playing on the side of a midfield three (with carrick and anderson) not as part of a front three (which was giggs, rooney and valencia). he had a job to do and did it fairly well. anderson and giggs, and rooney in the second half, were far more disappointing.

still, park's an easy target so let's have a go at him eh.

the problem with Park is he is consistently shit.

i thought he was an ineffective winger anyway.

i'm having a go because he's always shit.

the worst winger at OT since Ralph Milne.

It's not always about having a go, though, is it?

I don't dislike the guy; his attitude is terrific at times, he grafts when others won't pull their weight, and he also, at times, creates plenty of space for some of the more creative players to produce. He has played some excellent games over the years, but I presume people's grievances are born out of a frustration that at a time when we need a bit of extra spark, a bit more quality, we're playing someone with very little attacking quality.

Ok, so he can plug a gap now and then, but there's a problem when he's getting plenty of games - he doesn't chip in with goals, and doesn't have a whole lot of assists to his name either. I'd personally like to see someone with a bit more quality on the wing. Especially at home, when we should be going for it against any side we meet.
