Rojo has had a good month, Not to trigger Throb but Smalling was our best defender over the 2 seasons prior to this.

If the things I'm hearing about Smalling are right I don't think we'll be seeing him for a while. Thank £#%&!.

No one with that sqeaky voice should be a centre back for United - never mind £#%&!ing captain.

Get rid.

What are you hearing btw?

One on one defending perhaps, but he simply cannot pass a football and is a gormless drip who simply isn't good enough. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see much more of him outside of injury crises.

Wouldn't have Smalling ahead of Bailly or a fully fit Jones, and if ROJO's form continues, I'd have Smalling as fourth choice.

14/15 we won 20 league games, smalling only started 10 of them

15/16 we lost 10 league games, smalling started 9 of them

16/17 currently 6 wins 4 draws in 11 since he last started

He was massively flattered last year by VG's style of play and the fact that we spent the first half of the season with two holders. The second we went to one and starting pushing on a bit more the defence was all over the shop.

Rojo absolutely superb against Spurs. Have no problem with him and Jones as first choice centre backs at the moment. I'm sure they would be delighted to know that.

Imagine if someone said that six months ago...#loony

He started his first season really well tbf to him and I remember I was proper gutted when he did his shoulder in the derby

But for me he just isn't good enough and makes to many stupid mistakes (although he's been good over the last 4-5 games). Take that tackle on Bolasie? on another day that would have cost us.
