It's his attitude that annoys me. He seems more interested in showing people that he is on form and can perform his tricks than helping the team. Numerous occasions on Saturday he drew Everton players to him, but then tried to take them all on to show that he could despite there being other players better placed. Inevitably he was dispossessed. That's the Ronaldo of a few years ago, he should be above that now. And he's clearly not fully fit. He's half a yard off the pace and his ankle still seems to be bothering him. His performance on Saturday was his worst since his return, IMO. With players like Tevez and Nani who deserve a chance and have done well when called upon this season (especially Carlos), we should be looking to keep him on the bench for at least the West Ham game. Never mind resting Berbatov to bring in Tevez: Hes played well and needs to develop a partnership with Rooney and Tevez, it should be Ronaldo if anyone. |

I think he will keep playing Ronaldo, he is very naturally fit and thrives on continued games. Nani and Tevez both deserve a start, would not be surprised if he rested Rooney, he has been talking about seeing how Tevez and berbatov can do.
Hopefully Carrick will play some part, but it is a game we need to win. |
