One of the pluses of going out of the Europa is the end of Thursday nights. We’ve had two in the last two weeks. I’ve never known that before.

None of the technique/variety of Henry/Suarez/Ronaldo/even Sherarer of the other big single-season goal scorers .. but that pace + physicality over the first 10 yards combined w/ anticipation is greatest-of-all-time levels .. not sure even original Ronaldo had it to this extent (but he had a lot more to his game in other ways)

He’s the offspring of a pro footballer and a pro triathlete and it shows. Physically he’s about as imposing as it gets, he’s a great finisher as well. Makes a hell of a package.

Yeah because it’s on sky and city play on sky the day before. It was probably in anticipation of us playing in the Europe semi the Thursday before, before we shit the bed against Sevilla. Either that or there being some world wide conspiracy against us, it’s hard to tell.
