Underlines the lack of prep time for teams, I think. I don’t even think Grealish would be starting if he wasn’t so high profile and cost one miiiiiiilon dollars…

Good intensity with the fans back, but bit of a patchy half and surprisingly poor quality. Grealish is stylish, but he does slow things down a lot. City a bit punchless, but they’ll be a different animal when they sign Kane, unfortunately.

Maybe I’m reading too much into it, but there seems a real intensity to the title challengers already. Feels like there’s going to be plenty of teams involved and nobody can afford a slow start.
