Him staying and moyes becoming our manager were 2 of the biggest £#%&! ups this summer. We could have sold him and took a new approach by introducing some pace into the side. Instead we have had to shoe horn RVP and rooney into the side.

Situation has been made worse by him getting a new contract because that means RVP will be sold.

£#%&! off

RvP spent the last three seasons terrorising defences all over the country. Not a single @#%&! ever criticized his ‘movement’ or derided his lack of pace as he ruined one team after another. ffs, Arsenal were hilariously bad in 11/12 and he got them into the top four pretty much on his jack. Now look at him, isolated upfront with no service, played while injured with the manager & his mates slagging him off to the press pack to deflect attention from their own uselessness.

Carrick looks lost in midfield, the poor @#%&! being forced to play with that afro clown. £27m for him ffs. A joke of a signing. The forward play as whole is just disgusting. Slow, ponderous rubbish, which usually ends in a cross because there’s nothing going on in the final third. The defence is almost as big a joke. We’ve got a defensive manager who can’t organise a competent defence ffs. You have to laugh really.

Why is he still here
this, really.

rooney is not winning games on his own, but he is still one of our better players. picking on him, when no one other than de gea is actually performing, is silly.

van persie isn't performing. I don't think he understands how to get involved. it's not his fault either.

it's all down the lack of planning at the top.

interested as I am to know what you think rooney's best positions are, you're wrong. he's a great player. anyone who has time to criticise rooney when we have moyes has too much time on his hands. rooney's main problem is he never confines himself to one position. the main reason he's not the new paul scholes is because scholes would be dead after half an hour of doing what rooney does. rooney needs discipline.

First big player Van Gaal will bin is Rooney imo. Doesn't fit in a 433.

Thumbs up

Will certainly look good if the new boss doesn't want to keep a guy who two months ago was given a 5.5-year contract on maximum wage.

The club's run by idiots, tbh.

rooneys technique nor vision is no way near what scholes is, i doubt the reason why is isnt the "new paul scholes" is simply due to his chasing and excessive closing down.

Certainly if Rooney's first touch and passing is like Everton and Bayern away then he'll be sitting his fat Scouse arse on the bench

Van Gaal won't stand for that sort of carelessness

Have we shown any team line ups yet where we take out Rooney, our best outfield player of the season and replace him with Kagawa, two good games in two seasons?

Rooney won't be able to cope with RVP being LVG's main man
