Pretty good description of Coxy and his ilk here. Not sure he sees himself in it but he did admit it was pretty accurate.

Number 8 is me all over:

8. Your favourite Barcelona player is no longer Messi. It's Busquets. Claim Michael Carrick is Manchester United’s most important player and that Andrea Pirlo should have won the Ballon D’or.

I am definitely number 10. Apart from the Pat Nevin bit.

I actually bought 'Inverting the Pyramid' as I enjoy a bit of analysis and an appreciation of how we got where we are today. £#%&! me, it got very obscure in places. I ended up knowing far more about Austrian football at the turn of the century that I ever wanted to. One of the few books that I couldn't persevere to the end with.

Looks good on the coffee table, though.

TBF to old Coxy, if this is the standard of scouting / analysing going on at "top" clubs, he must seem like a £#%&!ing oracle...

1000% fit !

Players in the bench aquire technical ability

RUN AT HIM!

£#%&! me. How much are these @#%&!s on again ?

Might start my own blog if it gets you a paid job watching £#%&!ing football & writing like a mong... (I currently don't get paid for any of the same stuff tbf )

'Jordi Gomez can come on (if he doesn't start)'.

Rare talent, that.
