Really proud of the team today. There was effort, energy and purpose. Finally, for once this season, that was a performance with no weak links, when usually there are at least two or three.

Of course it wasn't perfect - we should have scored more from our 28 shots, and we were a bit sloppy at the back at times, but nobody let themselves or the team down.

No-one cares. They're not a big club. Would be the same if City hit a bad streak.

Best performance of the season? First 30 minutes felt that way. Amazing what can happen when you stop playing disinterested passengers. Still huge room for improvement - got to get a higher ratio of goals to chances. That Bruno penalty for a start And Onana still worrying. But happy Erik didn't tinker too much and trusted that 11 to get us over the line.

Great performance. Technically lacking a bit but it just shows what can happen when everyone on the pitch puts in a shift like they mean it. Chelsea looked crap, but we didn't give them room to breath all game.

Good change at half time by ETH as well, it closed the game up a bit and Shaw at CB was cutting out those counter attacking passes that were splitting our defence over and over again in the first half.

The Scottish Player

The Scottish Player…dare I say it….

Have we found our Steven Gerrard?

Listen…he’s shit in defensive midfield but as a solely attacking midfielder he’s sound

He has been doing it for the porridge munchers north of the wall for a bit now.

We must keep the Scottish Stevie G.

SSG is the man they all turn to when shits happening

Garnacho is the real deal. That LW spot is his.

Yep. He isn't afraid to take anyone on. A joy to watch sometimes

I was confident as soon as I saw Rashford and Martial had been dropped. Slapped arses.

Still agree with Jem, Amrabat (or any DM) on his own isn't enough against decent sides. He has to play Mainoo/Cas alongside him. Not sure what he does with the front 3 then, but that's not my problem.

We were great last night.

with the added bonus that he generally tries to run through thin air.

He's really growing. Was always a terrific threat from the bench but struggled as a starter.

Now he's at them right from the beginning.

Garnacho, Rasmus, Greenwood.

It's got everything. Misogyny. Spots. Bowl-cuts. Their combined ages are 60 though so could be a bit old.
