Not the first time a team has had 20~ shots at us + nearly as many corners. They rarely create decent openings so have to resort to hoofs from 3 yds out into a crowded goalmouth. Apart from the odd gaff, we defend pretty well outside the box.

tbf to rashford, he played a couple of delightful balls to nacho (including the through ball for thd 1-v-1). why won't he pass to hojlund?

rasmus thanking his team mates. for £#%&!ing what?

Thought is was a good game to watch. End to end. Frustrating how many great chances we £#%&!ed up but nice that we are now creating these chances. We are looking better and better in attack but when the opposition get the ball we always look like we are about to fall to pieces. Desperate for a settled back four.

In isolation it doesn’t look great, particularly if you don’t know ball. Absolutely ridiculous to use it as an example of his pressing though
You could say that or you could say he's got form for this shit all season. There's clips most games where he's just letting people run past him or he just stops chasing. Yeah, in isolation, last minute (he should be chasing more, no?) or whatever but this is the kind of shit he pulls most games. He's lazy, NQAT.

You could just as easily make a clip of him sprinting back into the box yesterday and use that as proof of his effort and attitude.

He’s been awful at times this season, but I think he’s been okay the last few games. And it’s no coincidence that our improved form/results has coincided with him being back in his best position.

He's an absolute shithouse when it comes to challenging aerially for a ball. Or challenging for a ball at all come to think of it.

You'd be %@#$&!ing a 10 year old for the one he did in his own box when he literally turned his back on it.

Can't wait until he is £#%&!ed off now.

Not that a settled back 4 wouldn’t help but you could have four maldinis there. The main problem is how many times teams get at them and that’s down to lack of control, solidity in midfield and attack and wastefulness with the ball.

TLDR- top quality replacements for Casemiro and Bruno and we win the league.

We're not winning the league with that back line.

Dalot is absolutely shite. Maguire was 'ok' but reminded us all why we hated him when he was making mistakes week in week out. Onana was... ok. Varane is still a crock and Lindelof is a squad player.

Awful at times?

Seriously, what does he offer the team? Goals? No.
Assists? No.
(And I mean at a respectable rate, not one every 8 games or so)
Work rate? Shite.
Beating his man? He's give the ball away whilst trying to get past someone as much as anyone I've seen this season.
The only thing he offers is he's not Antony but at least Antony works hard.

Would you keep him on if PSG offer 40m+ this summer?

question is.., why do players of proven quality all turn to shit when they play for us?

40m range?!

Not a chance.

80 minimum in this market.

Maybe if he has a year left on his deal but even then.

30M is a squad player these days.

Toney will go for double 40.

he's never been hard working defensively, never been good at pressing, always been a fanny challenging for aerial balls.

41 G+A last season v 11 G+A this season.

that is the only difference. nobody was posting tik toks of him jogging last season, because he was scoring goals.

Dare I say, watching United is actually quite enjoyable these days. Not that we’re necessarily good, but the matches are entertaining.

Mad to think that some fickle utdforum.com hardcore have been persistently calling for believe's matchday thread head.

£40m

3 goals and 2 assists in his last 7. Which coincides with our upturn in form/results.

If we got a big money bid for him I’d happily let him go because he’s far too inconsistent.
