God no, hope that's years away. Needs to consolidate his place at United first.

Apparently Southgate travelled to Ajax to see Henderson. Newcastle v Luton had 13 eligible England players playing.

Not even Amsterdam could make Southgate an interesting person.

Keep him away from the England squad. Atleast for this season.

Didn't think he was great today. Some flashes of brilliance but we were overrun a lot in midfield. Showed real quality late on when it mattered for the goal.

Same, thought the game passed him by a lot in the first half, but he was still willing to put a shift in ...

Still going.

Young at heart
He's sooooo

I personally thought Villa were better drilled than us, and we ended up a bit "last ditch"

Bit even so: a kid and an old geezer in mid, and a wheezing defence, and we still dicked them

He’s quietly effective. Just little moments of composure that go under the radar. Won’t be long til #@&%!s start saying he’s overrated.

Would still like a midfielder with a bit of presence alongside him.

Yeah, not his best but still very decent. I immediately calm down everytime I realise he’s on the ball. Thats about the biggest compliment I can give him.

He's just pure class. He's never hit a bobbly pass in life. Every pass has a purpose
