Those goals against Brentford have come at a real price. He shouldn’t even be at the club, never mind the team. Any goal threat he brings is comfortably outweigh by how absolute shit at everything else he is.

Once Casemiro, Mount and Eriksen are fit, we hopefully won’t see much of him again.

£#%&!ing embarrassing TBH.

League position wise, Wigan are as close to the bottom of the Conference as they are to United.

Some of those @#%&!s in red tonight should never be allowed near the1st team again.

New to this? They’ll be 5 pages of the same one or two posters complaining how hojlund isn’t good enough .

Big Jim needs to sink his teeth in. Hopefully we can manage a decent loan in. Then the summer is where it properly begins

Dalot speaks better than half the people I know. Be a decent vice captain imo. Fao atticus.

On another night we win by 4 or 5.

It was enjoyable watching us control a game of football for once.

Onto the next round and hopefully a trip to Dave Parade.

Would there be anyone at all doubting that penalty if it had been awarded to any other club in the country?

It's almost embarrassing how a kid like Mainoo can come into the team and look head and shoulders above every other midfielder on the pitch. Such a refreshing change to see a player take the ball under pressure, be composed and find his team mates, rather than the usual chaos we're treated to every week. The more I see of him the more i see why Man City are interested in him.

Other than that It's business as usual. A disjointed mess of a forward line consisting of two youngsters with little to no experience and Rashford swanning about as if he's off to pick up his Balon D'or later tonight. We need experience and goals up top BADLY. But then we needed it in the summer and never got it. And here we are.

Fundamentally embarrassing to win away from home with a clean against a team raising their game for both the cameras and against utd

What other night would that be? A night in 2008?

They had 33 shots at goal tonight

And their goalie possessed by the spirit of Lev Yashin just for this one occasion.

Yep. It was same old same old tonight. The main difference was we played a league one side.

The usual promising players looking promising, and the players with issues showing them like they always do.

Nothing is getting done about it this season. We’ll have our moments and we’ll just have to enjoy them, because nothing tangible good is coming out of this dead season. The biggest changes will hopefully come upstairs.

Speaking of them, where exactly the £#%&! are they? And Luke Shaw ffs?

Do any of them feel like maybe getting to the pitch to earn their million quid this month?

Casemiro's been out for 3 months for christ's sake, what did he do, break his spine?
