Sky Sports' Ben Ransom at Old Trafford:

“The wind is whipping around Old Trafford and the rain continues to hammer down.

"It’s not a day to measure Manchester United on the quality of their football, but a test of their character as to whether they can drag themselves back into this."

Not wrong tbf.

A 90 minute, 360 degree disgrace from all involved.

That whole back 4 shouldn’t be starting in a title challenging team.

Realistically Garnacho, hojlund , Mainoo and Martinez are the only ones who would make a title challenging team.

They’ll get ETH the sack, the next manager can be blamed for the shit show that’s United.

I don’t know how we can have different managers , different styles yet still get the blame when the exact same scenario occurs every two years .

Can we just rename the club Manchester Wednesday and stick to playing midweek, because these @#%&!s seem to forget to turn up on a weekend.

Character has nothing to do with it. These are his players. His system of play and management of personnel is absolutely shambolic.

He is what he is at this point. A fella who managed a mid-table Utrecht side, got a break at Ajax then somehow wound up blowing over £400 million to smithereens here. Completely and utterly out of his depth at this level in this league.

well, I didn't get carried away after chelsea. our midfield was wide open. 10h makes the same mistake over and over. we had plenty of good possession til their second today and it was the quality / intelligence on the final ball that killed our game.

we have been shit up front all season and with a very kind fixture list.

anyone who thought we had turned a corner hasn't been watching.

And what was Jose, lvg ?

ETH has made mistakes but it the same mistakes are happening for a decade with the same players.

That whole back 4.

Giving him loan players. Not signing a second striker. Not selling martial.

ETH has made mistakes but he has to out stay some of the shit@#%&!s at the club otherwise theyl will remain and we will be saying they same thing in 18 months time.

the back five had a decent game. we lost because we can't score. although that was partly dalot's fault.

At least Bruno is suspended for Anfield

Dalot should be back RB at best. If the @#%&! squared it to Hojlund it would have been 1-1 and the momentum would have been with us

Old slaphead playing 6D chess here

I’m with the forum sages. He has it all under control and we are just thick for expecting goals and so called victories.

The parallels with United and MCU are alarming.

We are bullshitted to about how things are going, blame passed to toxic fans or trolls (I’m still bitter I was labelled a troll on here for querying our midfield 4 months ago) and denial right up to the end.

We are Brexit FC and it really, really £#%&!ing pisses me off.

Out of Europe and deluding ourselves. £#%&!ing disgusting.
