Personally I advocated Mourinho for all those reasons, the immediate aftermath of Fergie's departure was the hardest part. If Moyes is backed then hopefully long term it will work out, but who can say. £#%&! all chance we'll ever find out if he's not backed at minimum.

Those players are better than Stoke's players. Like they were better than Southampton's and West Brom's. The level has dropped further since last season. I do agree that the Fergie fear factor, or just the Fergie calm perhaps, kept the team alive during suspect management/coaching in recent years, but Moyes should be doing a lot better with what he's got.
