City will win the league by a good few points. Chelsea will be 2nd. This manchester united squad is nowhere near good enough to challenge either of them. |

But we aren't going to get any of the players we need, so we aren't. Which I begrudgingly accept, as no team goes from 7th to 4th to challenging for the title whilst in the midst of a huge overhaul as a club. I'd take 3rd and 3 decent cup runs now tbh. |

We're not at their level, but we're not 'nowhere near' either. All it takes is a couple of good signings, a bit of momentum and we can at least mount a challenge. Look at Liverpool two years ago. An inspired run of form was nearly enough for them. Chelsea that year were a level off the top two, but two good signings and they jumped from that to easily winning the league the next year. We needn't worry about other teams anyway. we have our own issues to address and if we do that, then we can confidently expect to be 8-15 points better off than last year. If we are, it'll be a points total that would have you in and around the top. Quote:
Liverpool went from 7th to 2nd. Chelsea went from 3rd to 1st We went from 1st to 7th A big jump either way is possible if all the factors fall into place. |
