Another match that’s going to finish at half-past-bastard-ten as well.

Sick of going to bed absolutely fuming.

Wasn’t stupid and lazy but if it happened to us we would all be calling for a red. If there wasn’t so much space to plant his foot you could argue the case of shielding , if he caught him low up on the foot you can argue against it too.

It started up by his ankle when he had ample space to plant his foot.

The handball was a joke, how can he move his hand in the short amount of time the ball is kicked against it

Clear red card and clear penalty.

We've played well though. Positives in this. Still think we'll win.

If Rashfords lazy there, he probably trips over the gimps leg instead of making contact
It's lazy because he needs to use his body and strength to hold the opponent off better, rather than just stamping a leg out.

Official definition of serious foul play is as follows.

"Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play."

Rashford did none of this.

Except for on this occasion where, after 40 minutes of an excellent European away performance, fortune (and the refs) favoured the team playing £#%&!?

For the red, it was purely accidental that the bloke’s ankle hit that part of the pitch same time as rashford put his foot out to protect the ball. Slow it down, it looks bad, if you go close in on rashford’s head in even slower-mo, you can see his eyebrows go down quite a bit, in a ‘Ming the merciless’ kind of way, giving the ref no choice but to send him off. Worst thing is, it was the first time rashford had put any effort in on defending.

The penalty was laughable, a gold standard testament to the farce football has become. A proper contentious decision, will we have var look at it? Nah.

My thoughts exactly.

His average ponce of a kid got sold and he’s spat his dummy out ever since.

Let’s be honest we’ll be well out of this competition anyway.

It’s been a total and utter £#%&!ing disaster and finishing 3rd and qualifying for that thurs night shit fest will only add insult to injury

We’re not good enough to weather a bit of bad luck or dicky reffing. If ETH calls their manhoods into question and they come out raging then I’ll take it back. Can’t see it doe brev.

Hold up, didn’t even realise he wasn’t looking at the ball. £#%&! off ref wasn’t a red

If rashford was the defender in that tackle ok, but he had control of the ball, the intent is for the Copenhagen lad to win it back..

He protected, you didn't win it

Move on
Accidental as £#%&!, he was planting his defending foot...

Genuinely what is the process for deciding what gets looked at and what doesn't? I'm baffled. Why not look at that handball? Why does Rashford's attempt to protect the ball get looked at from seventeen angles yet a contentious penalty is waved on?

We need to keep our shape, be clever and cynical. We don’t have that in us. They’ll continue to get pulled about leave massive spaces.
