He appears to be on the left there.

The £#%&!ing monsters, hasn't he suffered enough playing on the left?

Well, that's one way of looking at it if he was playing for us next weekend.

tbf in another recent thread you said that Fellaini wasn't as bad as he was made out to be last season, I think you should go and have a drugs test before you proffer any further footballing opinion, drive or operate heavy machinery.

The criticism of Fellaini was/is greatly over-exaggerated, and the hype over Nani from his fanboys is greatly over-exaggerated.

The difference is, Fellaini has barely had longer than 12 months to prove himself (most of which was under the woeful management of Moyes), whereas Nani has had six £#%&!ing years of shit@#%&!ery.

Stop it

Two years of playing well pretty much followed by two years of injuries.

As much as I love the lad it was time for him to move on, but it's harsh to rewrite his United career as a total failure.

Since returning to Portugal, Nani has scored five goals in 10 appearances, including two in three Champions League matches. There have even been reports that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal wants to take the Portugal international back to Old Trafford in January, but Sporting have been assured that they have the winger until the end of the season.

Absolutely no surprise that LvG wants the big man back asap

Given the £#%&!ing state of some of our benches this season, perhaps hasty to agree to pay for him to play for someone else for a year.

I'd rather have him here than Young or Valencia, but I'd prefer none of them.

For a young foreign player coming to utd I thought he did well 07-10, scored some important goals even in his first season and obvs the penalty in Moscow

10-12 he was excellent. Not sure how accurate this is, but here's an idea: http://www.myfootballfacts.com/Premi...d_2010-11.html . (On a side note, I don't understand why he didn't start the champions league final instead of Hernandez, to make a 5 man midfield ). Pretty decent when he actually gets playing time.

12-14 injured and not playing regularly. Was actually having a great game vs Real until the sending off as well.

Now seems to be doing well at Sporting, with a run of games. Don't think he's a long term answer, but £#%&!ing much better than Young or Valencia.

Bring Nani back

I didn't join until this time last year, ship had already sailed by then. Just like any footballing great, he deserved to have a forumista named after him.

Either way, the point remains, why are we paying Sporting to have him (unless the loan is a masterplan to get him ready for a return ) whilst Ashley Young is still at the club?
