Bad first 10 and last 10 mins. Good in the middle, need to be a bit more ruthless but that will come with signings and getting a proper title winning mentality into the squad .

Worth noticing their second goal came off a corner that wasn’t . We need a cb badly, lindelof is utter shite, harder for the opposition if they had nobody challenging them in the air.

Game in hand, 3 points off second, and let’s be real this is us playing in bits. This team can improve and should.

We just can’t control a game but we’re must watch TV

I’ll take the win but we’ll have to cut out the sloppiness to beat Leeds at the weekend

When our forwards click we can destroy anyone but we can’t keep blowing so hot and cold in the same game if we want to actually challenge for this league

Sheff Utd are going to play their hearts out for a while at least, if only out of sheer pride; no one wants the record they now have. What’s important is that despite the shaky moments we didn’t buckle entirely. Good win, some great football played at points. We’ve shown in the game against City that we can go for the more solid approach at the cost of creativity at the other end of the pitch; with an attack like ours, there’s no need to do that against teams like Sheffield United.

A couple of additions (Dm and a right forward) and we’ll be pretty close to the finished article imo.

Which is why tonight had "banana skin" all over it, its a bigger win than it seems to be on paper.

Our 3rd goal sums him up. Gets caught on the ball 3 times in 5 minutes in the same pocket outside of our box. Then sets up a counter with a great bit of skill

He did well tonight overall

We shouldn’t have to need a big save from Henderson at the end to hold onto that win

Hardly negative to recognise what we need to do if we’re going to take the next step as a side

Fernandes is so £#%&!ing good.

Pogba can lose the ball under no pressure but then do things with the ball from deep positions which we need.

At times we are absolutely frightening.

Get some consistency and maybe a centre back and we will fly.

We gifted them a 1-0 head start though

Tbf both of their goals were as flukey as they come and we should have had at least another two

No surprise they upped their game against us either.

We do need to start games better and faster though.

Come on Ziggy... teams always raise their game against United. This is not new.

Which we keep doing

Great that we can now come back from a punch on the nose as there was a period for a year or two when if we went behind that was it but seriously we can’t keep doing this

That’s what comes with being a big club

Got to handle that and control these games better

This is the next step we need to make
Great that it’s not costing us in the league but it’s the reasons we are out of the CL

True but this was just a solo clanger from the keeper, not like they cut us open

No that’s because we bottled it. PSG didn’t see us as a big club.

Remember Keegan in 96 when Leeds played out of their skin against us?

We’re not talking about isolated games under Fergie when a shite team made it difficult for us
We struggle to control any game we play at the moment

Hasn’t cost us away from home in the league but we didn’t get away with it in Europe

Again there are big positives in that we can actually win from being behind now and when it clicks in attack we can look devastating but if we want to make the next step and compete for the league and later stages of the CL then we have to dominate and manage games better
