Shaqiri looks like Harry Houdini after struggling to get out of a sack.

Anyway it’s you guys love lads who “want to play for the club” despite them being poor footballers.
He's a dreadful player and games like this expose him badly.

First 25 was pretty diabolical but it was just about getting through it and since then we haven’t been too bad

If we could string a couple of passes together we’ll get a few decent chances

Still not sold on Fred and Mctom for this game and maybe Matic on or preferably Pogba into the middle with Rashers and Martial wide and Bruno in a false 9 role.

Got to test this CB pairing out.

Think we’re being slightly unfair on here today. At worst we’ve been a team playing away at a team who’s not lost at home in four years. Other than that I’d say we grew in to the game and other than some stupid offsides we looked just as likely to do something as they did in the last 20.

Take that in the first half. Shaky as £#%&! first 25, much better last 20 of the half.

They're extremely lucky not to have another two players on bookings already. Nothing was said about Mane stamping on Shaw, albeit accidentally. Bit different to the reaction to Shaw winning the ball against Burnley when apparently he was lucky to stay on the pitch.

Nervous but we have shown that we can get in on them, just need it come off in the second half now.

Ole needs to make a point of subbing Martial and Rashford here. Absolute shit

We need the ball to stick on Liverpool’s third. It’s not rocket science. He’ll bully Henderson and Fabinho ffs

Personally I would swap Martial and Rashford position-wise, the latter can’t stay on side and his hold up play is gash

And I would sub The Scottish Player for Matic and later on take off Bruno for VDB, we need players who can look after the ball a lot more

Thiago looks good and Shaqiri looks bright but apart from that they’re not that impressive and if we can just sustain some possession we can comfortably beat these lot

You two share a login? Or just roomies?

He’s done well to keep the ball moving from wide to center and switch the point

Should have left Bailly in. Players need to have more belief in themselves. First 30 mins was awful. Aside from martial no-one looking to go forward or take them on with the ball or with the confidence to actually make a pass.

Really poor start to the match
We played like rabbits in the headlights for the first 30 minutes but then started to get into the game

Been crap going forward
Literally no idea what to do when we rarely get the ball in their final third
Really wish we would work on attacking patterns in training

I’d swap Martial and Rashford
Rashford is much better moving from out to in and Martial can hold the ball better

Ultimately Fred and The Scottish Player are no where near good enough on the ball for where we want to get to

Would have taken 0-0 at half time but we need to push on now

Marlo, The Scottish Player hasn't been great but has been far better than Fred.

These are there for the taking.

Oh, Lindelof is poor. Will never be a regular if we ever win the league again.
