Probably because he isn't wearing jeans and a baseball cap.

He should be getting forward more IMO. Rafael has been the perfect example of what we need from a full back this half

Should be sitting pretty at 2-0. But again we drop a needless clanger.

I wouldn't pick Mata ahead of Rooney. He's even slower, and quite ponderous.

For all Rooney's technical inconsistencies, he still gets involved.

Any more dithering from DDG second half then sub him.

No pissing around here - we need these 3 points

Or you could say a mata chelsea won the fa cup, champions league and uefa cup. Then mou comes in and they win £#%&! all.

Fact of the matter is, Mata is a better player than rooney in every sense, including as a manchester united player.

Good performance, especially in the first 30 when there was a very good tempo to the play, Rafael sparking it off early on, he and Shaw could be a very exciting attacking full back combination.

Utd might need another ball winner in midfield, Di Maria, Rooney, Falcao and Van Persie all in the same side is very exciting but does mean an exposed back 4.

McNair has been very classy on the ball, a couple of moments when it looked as if he could be bullied but very smooth, says a lot about the senior options that both Blackett and McNair look more composed and comfortable playing from the back.

Same stuff as last week really

Very good going forward even if we should have had a couple more. At the back its nervy but McNair looks comfortable enough on the ball.

At least one of Sparky's bets is safe, there's certainly going to be a couple more goals.
