I love RvP, obviously, but I think we do have the potential to play better football as a team without him in the side. Moyes has obviously made his bed with that huge Rooney deal. He also won't drop RvP.

Said it when it happened, could be a blessing in disguise with that veep injury. Time will tell but I think Rooney will be more effective for a start. Combined with any 3 of mata, kagawa, welbeck, januzaj it begins to look very good.

Get Kroos in, couple of defenders and we're back up there IMO

I think it has more to do with playing a true number 10 behind the front man.

kagawa and mata don't finish like veep, for sure.
