That's the only thing. I love Rooney as a player, but I really don't think him leaving would break our team. He's stopping Kagawa's progress at United. Rooney wants to play as a striker, but he can't with RvP in the team so he plays as a #10 and Kagawa is usually on the bench.

May sound deluded whilst saying this, but I think Kagawa is better than other players such as Cazorla, Ozil, Kroos and Goetze.

I just pray that we don't waste him on the left wing.

You know what, I'd run with that if Rooney leaves ... to start every game..

We've apparently nicked some 17 year old Brazilian/Portuguese @#%&! from City if that's any consolation. Attacking midfielder allegedly. Worrying signs though in that he's already mentioned that he's been chatting to Anderson.

So a cash and mata swap with Chelsea would be good as Kagawa would shine ....
