Most of the papers tomorrow running with LVG getting the job and keeping Giggs on. Seems the obvious choice. Mentoring Giggs was how one report was putting it!

Yeah as long as he's taking the job fully aware that part of his role will be to tutor Giggs then it should be good. You wouldn't want a situation where Giggs was forced on the new man if he didn't want him or he saw him as a threat.

The club need to officially announce Van Gaal taking over otherwise the pressure will build for Giggs to be given the job permanently
Clamour from the media after the match today has been ridiculous especially pundits who should know better

He will be. Nothing we can do about that but I'm sure Giggs will be cognisant of the opportunity of learning under two of the best managers of all time rather than just one will do him a lot more good in the long term. If he's to be our pep then he needs to get a grounding in tactics that tbf Fergie never really provided. Fergie for the man management. Van Gaal for the tactics.

yep. media pushing it in a big way, no doubt 'cos they think he carries the possibility of failure.
