people seriously under estimate young ronnie.

how the £#%&! do you stop someone faster than most players in the world, more skillful, can score headers like the one he did yesterday, comfortable with both feet, strong , never hides and can score 35 goals by march (in the same season he was banned for three games....)

Cruyff was a sensational footballer.

I don't know how good he was compared to Best.

But if there was an all-star team to be picked Best would be in very good company if Cruyff was also in the XI.

How would Ronnie have survived playing when George did, with the likes of Hunter trying to chop you in half and absolutely no protection from the refs ???

If George was playing today, he would be completely unplayable because of how soft football has gone.

Ronnie gets hacked down in almost every game he plays.

Maybe not with quite the same ferocity but it happens about 8 times a game, it's ridiculous.

The kid is a great footballer, hopefully he continues in our shirt. Cruyff was a really good player from a different era. Neither can compare to George

The king was a totally different kind of player, most magnificent. Alongside George and Charlton it had to be seen

Ronaldo has that ability to scare the living shite out of opponents by his mere presence, and even in some games this season when he apparently hasn't played that well he's still popped up to score.

The only player I've seen with that aura is Cantona, who just by being there gave United a head start.

Frightening to think Ronaldo is only going to get better

Three European Cups on the bounce, The Treble (albeit in Holland), the World Cup final, the very spirit itself of "Total Football"; Cruyff was a player alright!
